Psoriasis is a chronic, genetic and non-contagious skin disease. It causes dry, red and silvery scaly patches to appear on skin. This patches are called psoriatic plaques, which are due to excessive skin production on the affected areas. The plaques always appear on elbows, knees, forehead, scalp and other parts including armpits and genitals. The severity of this type of skin disorder varies from minor localized patches to complete body coverage.

The cause of psoriasis is believed to have a genetic component. Factors that might aggravate psoriasis include stress, both physically and emotionally; too much alcohol intake and smoking. Patients with severe psoriasis may have low self-esteem and even suffer depression. Although various treatments are available for psoriasis, but its chronic recurrent nature make it a challenge to treat.

Then, add honey after straining the tea and keep refrigerated. Drink 3 tbsp 4 times daily for 2 weeks. This is effective in reducing psoriasis.
