for Hemorrhoids or Piles

Hemorrhoids,
also known as piles are swollen and inflamed blood veins of
the rectum, which could happen either outside or inside. The
main cause of hemorrhoids is persistent constipation.
When a constipated person strains to pass motion, the force
exerted will increase the venous pressure. This will usually
cause itching, pain, and sometimes bleeding. Other causes
lead to this problem could be mental stress, sitting or standing
for too long, stressful work, and obesity.
When the is a hemorrhoid especially internal hemorrhoid,
continuing pushing to have bowel movement will cause the hemorrhoid to burst
and bleed. That's why internal hemorrhoids are also called bleeding
hemorrhoids. External hemorrhoids on the other hand, are less likely to
bleed but are more painful.
The common symptoms for hemorrhoids are:
- hurt and bleeding when passing stool;
- having irritated feeling after passing motion;
- feeling discomfort or itchy around the rectum; and
- a flesh coming out of the rectum.
If you have hemorrhoid problem, the following home remedies
for hemorrhoids might be useful:
Remedies Internal
Hemorrhoids:

Dry Figs: Eating
figs twice a day is the most effective way to cure piles. The small
seeds in this fruit helps in bowel movement and avoid constipation. Soak
4 figs with water overnight and eat them in the next morning together
with the soaking water. Prepare another 4 figs in the morning and keep
them for the evening. Repeat the same thing for 3 to 4 weeks.
- Mango Seeds Powder:
Prepare mango seeds powder by drying the seeds in shade and then grind
into powder. Add about 2 grams of the powder to water together with some
honey. Drink it 2 times daily. This is good for treating bleeding piles.
- Jambul Fruit:
Jambul Fruit also known as rose apple or java plum. Eat this fruit with
some salt every morning for at least 2 months. This will help in
preventing the recurring of bleeding hemorrhoid.
- Radish Juice and Grated
Radish: Drink about 90ml of radish juice with a pinch of
salt added to it in the morning and evening. You can also consume grated
radish (about 100mg) with 1 tsp of honey added to it.
- Onion Drink:
Finely crushed 30g of onion in water to release the oil and add in 60g
of sugar to make an onion drink. Consume twice daily to treat bleeding
piles.
- Ginger-Lime-Fresh Mint
Juice: Add 1/2 tsp of ginger juice, 1 tsp each of lime juice and fresh mint juice
together with some honey and drink.
- Sesame Seeds Decoction:
Put 20g of sesame seeds in 500ml of boil water and cook until the
volume reduced to 1/3. Drink the decoction.
- Turnip Juice:
Extract juice from turnip leaves. Mix the turnip juice with juices of
watercress, spinach, and carrots in equal portion. For example, to make
a glass of 200ml mixed juice, 50ml of each juice are to be added.
- Bitter Gourd Leaves Juice:
Extract juice from fresh bitter gourd leaves
and mix 3 tsp with a glass of buttermilk. Drink this in the morning.
- Coriander Seeds Drinks:
This drinks will stop the bleeding when passing stools.
Prepare this solution by soak the coriander seeds
in a glass of water for one night and drink it in the next morning.
- Banana-Milk:
Make banana milk by blending a cook banana in a glass of milk. Drink it
at least 4 times a day. This will relieve the pain.
Remedies External Hemorrhoids:
- Radish-Milk Paste:
Prepare this by grinding radish in some milk. Apply the paste over the
painful piles will help to ease the pain and reduce the swelling.
- Onion-Garlic Patch:
Finely chop onions and garlic cloves and apply on the hemorrhoids
for 3 hours using a cotton wool pad. You can also replace this with the
combination of sliced onion and honey.
- Bitter Gourd Root Paste:
Make a paste using roots of the bitter gourd plant and apply over the
hemorrhoid.
- Cumin Seeds Powder Paste:
Make a paste by mixing cumin seeds powder with water and
put the paste on the painful piles.
- Baking Soda:
If the hemorrhoid have itchy feeling, try applying some baking soda onto
it.

Passion Fruit Paste:
Make a passion fruit paste (4g of fruit extract in 1/4 cup of water) and
apply to the piles. This will help soothing and relaxing the skin.
- Carrot or Beet Paste:
Grind carrot or beet into paste (drain the juice) and refrigerated until
cool. Put the cooled paste on the painful area using a cloth.
- Plum Leaves Paste:
Mix ground plum leaves with olive oil and apply the paste on the
hemorrhoids to relieve the pain.
